Mica Sheet Composite has the excellent characteristic of growing (in thickness) at the same amount as the flange material expansion rate i.e. the sealing material follows the deformation of the flange while retaining the necessary tightness with exceptional stability.

Its properties make it ideal for sealing burner flanges in combustion systems, high-temperature heat exchangers, gas turbine housings, flange joints of turbochargers and other exhaust gas superchargers.
